Mike Ridgeway, President/CEO
Mike is a second generation licensed contractor, growing up on construction sites and helping his father. He got into piecework at 18 and has been in the trade ever since, working his way up through the ranks. After working as a Superintendent for another company Mike realized it was time to make his entrepreneurial dream come true! So together with his wife, Amanda they cashed out the 401k and got to work. As friends of Bill, Bob and Jimmy K, they built Ridgeway Construction Inc. on a foundation of integrity and hard work. Mike takes pride in everything he does and personally oversees each and every job to ensure the highest standards are met. Over the years Mike has decades of experience in all facets of both residential and commercial construction, from rough framing to finish carpentry and everything in between. Mikes commitment to quality combined with a never say die attitude have allowed him to accomplish the seemingly impossible time and time again.
Amanda Ridgeway, Vice President/CFO
Having a grandfather who was a concrete contractor, and a father who was a backhoe operator and plumber, Amanda spent a great portion of her childhood on jobsites, as well- learning the lingo if nothing else. She then spent 14 years mentoring under her Grandmother in bookkeeping and human resources at the family company, and another 10 years serving as CADC-II Licensed Counselor. She then managed operations for a multi-million dollar non-profit organization. Amanda always knew she would start her own company one day and jumped at the opportunity to help her husband achieve his dream of business ownership.
Tanner Bond, Foreman
After graduating from CSU Sacramento with a Bachelors in English Literature, Tanner decided to postpone his teaching career and instead decided to explore a career that would allow him to spend his days outside in the beautiful California weather, working with his hands. As is typical of the trades, Tanner began his construction career as a laborer, but shortly after began apprenticing under Mike. He worked with Mike for the next 3 years before branching off as a freelance carpenter. When the time came for Ridgeway Construction Inc. to bring on a Foreman, we knew we needed someone experienced but also someone that shared our mission and values, so we set off to recruit Tanner and he joined the team in February of 2022. Additionally, Tanner will be joining our Board of Directors in the near future.
